The Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST program, which provides FREE trainings on the accessibility requirements of the Fair Housing Act, funded through a HUD contract.
Will be providing a FREE training in Providence, RI. on 4/12/2016.
The event is sponsored by Roger Williams University & their School of Law.

The training will focus on the design and construction aspects of the Fair Housing Act.
It will be of particular interest to developers, builders, architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, property managers, general contractors, accessibility organizations, disability rights advocates, building code officials and government agencies.
Our presenter will be Doug Anderson, CASp., a partner at LCM Architects and former chair of the U.S. Access Board. The following modules will be covered:
- Module 10 – Design and Construction Requirements of the Fair Housing Act: Technical Overview
- Module 7 – Accessible Routes
- Panel Discussion of Local Issues by Local Experts
This training will provide AIA members with 6 hours of AIA approved CEU credits.
Training certificates will be provided FREE to anyone who requests them.
